SkillMatch is a capstone project developed as a web-based Community Skills Exchange and Local Service Matching System. It is designed to connect clients with skilled individuals in the community who can provide services based on their skills, experience, availability, and service rates.
The system provides a centralized platform where users can discover local services, submit and manage service requests, communicate with skilled providers, maintain payment records, and provide ratings and reviews after completed transactions.
It also provides administrative tools for account and identity verification, service monitoring, complaints, transactions, notifications, reports, and other system management activities.
As a capstone project, SkillMatch demonstrates the use of web technologies in creating an organized and accessible digital platform that supports the exchange of skills and local services within a community.
